New site, who dis?

So, I finally built my first personal website. I relied on a Notion page for years (and hey, it got me hired), but I’ve spent enough tokens on “vibe-coding” this version that I’m starting to wonder: can I add Design Engineer to my title yet?

I think we’re standing on the edge of a fundamental shift in how we interact with computers. It’s changing our mental models of how things work. When I was a kid, software engineering felt like rocket science — and for a long time, it was and I guess it will stay that way in the near future. You still need to know the hard part and understand the ‘metal’. The AI right now is just an assistant that makes things faster. While Tony Stark was a vibe-coder, he was still able to build ‘this’ in a cave with a box of scraps.

It totally aligns with the pattern of technological singularity we see throughout history. Everything is just moving faster. We’re reaching a point where the bottleneck isn’t the tool or the syntax anymore — it’s the clarity of our own intent. The box of scraps is gone; the only thing left to master is the vision.
